Effective AI can offer huge benefits in radiology, for instance in the early detection of disease. In this talk we will present the need for AI, and how early deployments have created positive impact. We will also discuss concerns around understanding performance and ensuring fairness of products that lack transparency and have yet to gather significant clinical evidence, as well as how to mitigate this when deploying solutions.
