Mahsa Vahdat: My Voice Is My Home

NEW YORK, November 6, 2021 — Iranian singer Mahsa Vahdat interprets Persian poetry both old and new through song. She was joined on stage by percussionist Shane Shanahan and harpist Bridget Kibbey. Prior to the performance, writer and translator Zara Houshmand gives an introduction that contextualizes the poetry.
